In summer, the Macugnaga Himalayan Wall shows itself in all its grandeur, offering breathtaking scenery for hikers and mountaineers. The thaw reveals the majesty of its rock and ice walls, creating a spectacular contrast with the green meadows and clear skies.

Belvedere at 1914 meters, easily reached by two chairlifts, is an ideal vantage point for hikers and nature lovers, with breathtaking views of Mount Rosa and its imposing “Himalayan wall.” The place offers an atmosphere of tranquility, where one can enjoy the natural beauty and silence interrupted only by the sounds of nature. From here, you can continue to the Zamboni-Zappa Refuge, a starting point for more challenging hikes. Alpe Burki, located near the middle station of the chairlift at 1593, is an alpine pasture, with traditional huts converted into refuges offering typical alpine cuisine. A perfect environment for low-altitude hiking.

Passo Moro, located at 2,870 meters (8,870 feet), is one of the most scenic alpine passes in Italy, reached by cable cars or hiking trails that offer spectacular scenery among pastures, forests and rocks.
