A unique panorama between ice and mountains
The Belvedere Glacier is one of the most extraordinary natural wonders of the Alps, where the landscape seems to have come out of another world. With its imposing appearance, it offers a spectacular view of Mount Rosa and its majestic peaks, providing breathtaking scenery. The glacier originates in the upper part of the wall at an elevation of 4400-4500 m, and pushes its front, largely covered by debris, up to about 1900 meters, within walking distance of the chairlift station Belvedere.
